The Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) this week announced its Feather Awards winners. Europcar took top honours for Best Car Hire Service Provider for 2012 at King Shaka International Airport.
We are very proud of this award as it reaffirms our commitment to drive quality service delivery and establish new ways of exceeding our customers expectations, says Europcar chief executive Dawn Nathan-Jones.
The annual awards programme acknowledges service excellence by service providers at each of the organisations airports and is designed to honour and thank airport stakeholders for their efforts during the year. Winners were chosen based on the results of both quantitative and qualitative customer perception-based surveys conducted between March and October 2012.
While the main objective of this award is to recognise service excellence, the Feather Awards also goes a long way in building lasting business partnerships between the service providers and ACSA.
Nathan-Jones notes that it is not only the outstanding efforts of frontline staff that make for excellent customer experiences, but also the hard work of the Europcar support staff.
Every person within our organisation - from management to rental agents and maintenance staff as well as the people at our various depots for ensuring that our vehicles are turned around quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality. It takes a well-oiled team to make sure our customers Europcar experience is as easy and enjoyable as possible, says Nathan-Jones.
