Full House Events brings fresh pizzazz to local poker scene after experiencing London’s Poker in the Park

Full House Events (FHE) has returned from the exciting Poker in the Park Festival in London and are ready to share the latest experiential poker trends with the South African poker playing community.

Playing over two days in prominent Leicester Square, Europe’s largest poker festival creates riveting opportunities for everyone attending. As South Africa’s leading professional poker experience business, FHE, grabbed the event with gusto and while rubbing shoulders with European poker celebrities, gleamed all the latest trends behind current poker events and other corporate trends.

FHE has put the motions in place to bring all the excitement back to South Africa and launch these innovative poker concepts locally in 2010. “This poker scene is one of the most advanced in the world and it was such a fantastic opportunity for us to attend,” commented FHE’s John Paul Waites. “We’re thrilled to be able to bring this knowledge back home and offer corporates a sophisticated, world-class poker experience.”

The European poker community was out in full force.  FHE met the BLUFF Magazine Europe team and engaged in banter with Poker in the Park organisers, exhibitors, visitors and representatives from around the world.

World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2006 winner and poker philanthropist Jamie Gold, and WSOP 2008 winner Peter Eastgate – spent time chatting to the FHE team about their charity poker insights and where they predicted international poker trends are heading.

According to Full House Events’ Adam Houghton the local SA poker market place is not too far behind Europe.  “We are perfectly positioned to bring new poker concepts to our shores. South Africans can certainly expect a busy and exciting poker year next year.”

Coupled with this, Full House Events has the approval of the Gauteng Gambling Board to host its events, complying with the Board’s strict regulations.  “While this approval ensures that we operate on the right side of the law, more importantly for us, this approval offers our corporate clients and their guests a great sense of comfort and peace of mind. They are safe in the knowledge that, with Full House Events, they are dealing with a professional and legitimate organisation,” says Waites.

As South Africa’s leading poker experience business, Full House Events is constantly refining its product and adding new experiences and ideas to its corporate poker business. With a focus on the finer details, FHE consistently delivers a stylish, talked-about event that is unforgettable. FHE also customises poker experiences to suit individual brands and audiences by incorporating brand identities onto poker accessories and supporting collateral.
